Supporting Andhra’s Learning Transformation (SALT) is a visionary project undertaken by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with support from the World Bank, which aims to transform the state’s school education system by strengthening the quality of foundational learning through various pathways including improving teacher professional development, classroom-based assessments and early childhood education. 
 

Leadership For Equity has been selected as a technical partner for SALT, responsible for supporting the Department of School Education on the following key priority areas.

1. Support SCERT and DIETs to create and implement high quality, need-based blended learning courses for teachers for in-service teacher development

2. Support SCERT and SIEMAT in institutionalizing a cadre of teacher mentors at the school complex level to provide classroom level pedagogical support to teachers.

3. Streamline creation and curation process for DIKSHA to ensure high-quality digital content for teachers and students

4. Digitize TEACH tool to ensure smooth and structured classroom observations and support across all schools
