The Intervention
Our collaborative efforts with Sunita unfolded as a comprehensive strategy. We embarked on over 90 days of rigorous content training in language and mathematics, equipping teachers with the knowledge and tools needed to deliver impactful instruction. Concurrently, over 40 days of workshops on coaching and mentoring empowered teachers to become reflective practitioners and mentors for their peers, fostering a culture of shared growth.
A pivotal moment in this partnership was the pilot of a remedial program called "Sakshom." Implemented in classrooms for a month, Sakshom was designed to provide targeted support for students facing challenges. Sunita's exceptional leadership in this pilot proved invaluable, generating insightful data and feedback that shaped the program's eventual expansion throughout the city.

Challenges
We understood that lasting change required ongoing nurturing and refinement. To this end, we provided over 20 instances of co-observation and in-classroom coaching annually, fostering a culture of continuous improvement among educators. Furthermore, we facilitated workshops on critical aspects such as facilitation, planning, and monitoring interventions, investing over 240 hours in meetings, dry runs, and debriefs with teacher mentors to ensure the program's sustained success.
