Building Capacities of Officers with Professional Skills
LEAD became the first of its kind government certified, blended learning course for officers in the education department that was offered in regional languages. With strong research-backed content, the LEAD courses consisted of contextualised field-based examples and case studies that focused on program design, implementation skills and organizational skills like team management..
Partnerships for LEAD Program
Leadership For Equity (LFE) & MIEPA Aurangabad in partnership with CISCO CSR are committed to creating opportunities that foster the professional development of the officers from the state education department of Maharashtra through the Leadership Enhancement and Academic Development (LEAD) Program.

Each course under the LEAD program is conducted through a well-designed process. It starts with an Orientation Session for all participants. As the course is conducted in a blended learning method, the participants consume that course content at their own pace and convenience through an online learning platform called “Firki”.
Once the participants finish consuming a module, a well-designed Peer Learning Community (PLC) meeting is conducted for all in different batches, wherein the sharing of knowledge and ideas happens through value-adding discussions.
To evaluate the learning of participants, an assignment is given after each module which they have to complete within the given duration. These assignments are evaluated based on a pre-defined rubric.
In this way, the course is conducted and after that the end-line assessment is conducted for all.
