The difference we've made through the years

What have we achieved till now? 

We have seen ~12% of students (~4800) move a learning level higher, in a year-long city-wide remedial program (2017-2019). In the blended spoken English training program (2018-2020) conducted with 20,8000+ teachers, we have seen 62% course-completion; a 25% increase in skills & confidence to teach English; and an 85% increase in innovative activities for teaching spoken English impacting ~2,60,000 students.

How far do we want to go?

In the next 10 years, LFE wishes to build the capacity of 10,000 systems leaders across 5 states in India, and impact the learning of ~30 million children studying in government-run schools. By creating strong proof points with ~25% of our beneficiary population, we will have built trust-based relationships with local and state governments thus advocating for policy shifts at a national level. Ultimately, through our exemplar models of capacity building of government leaders in diverse geographies, we wish to create a 'Center for Leadership in Public Education' - which will promote the principles of effective academic & administrative leadership in both government and civil society leaders across India.
