90% of classrooms needing repairs are in Zilla Parishad (ZP) schools. Most school toilets are in poor condition due to inadequate water supply
42% of students find their journey to school long and uncomfortable, with this figure rising to 62% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students.
Khed performs better than the Pune district average in language and math but still has room for improvement. Pupil-teacher ratios exceed norms in many schools, particularly in higher grades.
88% of teachers attended training, but only 25% found it engaging and relevant to their classroom needs.
Students need better transportation, clean toilets, and access to computers. Teachers need e-learning resources and smart boards. Parents want transportation for higher education access, clean toilets, and improved sports and library facilities.
